Quality and consistency
Our Association with Global Infosys Limited (“GI”) goes over a decade back when we were one of their first customers. Over the long period we have seen quality service consistently delivered by GI. Over the last few years we have been closely working with GI, where GI has been providing monthly book keeping services for our clients and presenting us with a full year-end file for us to sign off accounts. The quality of book keeping services delivered by GI is much better than the so-called “Bookkeepers’” in the market and cheaper too. In cases where GI does our client’s bookkeeping we are assured of a hassle free year-end finalisation.
We have no hesitation in recommending GI’s services to any firm looking at reducing their cost and improve their turnaround time.
Given our backgrounds, outsourcing and offshoring were always going to form a key component to our overall client delivery model. After an RFP process, GI were our favoured partner and we’ve been working successfully with them for about 18 months now. We started our relationship by outsourcing statutory accounts and corporation tax compliance which is a relatively defined process and a low-risk start to working with GI as we could wrap our internal quality assurance around. It also meant we could leverage this FRS Centre of Excellence while we were still a small team.
About 6 months after our relationship started, we developed our delivery model to include SOS model and began offshoring with our first FTE based in India, and shortly afterwards added another FTE; we’re looking for a third imminently. The offshore model compared to the outsource model gives us more control and direction on what our team in India are working on and it’s seen as integral to our teams based in London and Belfast.
As a business it’s enabled us to scale rapidly with this distributed model. While offshoring has a number of advantages, the slight difference in time zone to the UK means we can leverage a longer day and pass work from one time zone to another and get more out of any single day. We see it as fundamental to our team structure and a key component of our business growth.
Couldn’t be happier
We have been using GI in earnest for a little over a year now and we are delighted with the service.
We started by just using GI for the compliance work and that has been so successful we no longer do any year end accounts in house. The quality is excellent, the working papers are all hyper linked for quick and easy review, the queries are insightful and they really know what they are doing.
It has speeded up the work flow through the office and given me more time to spend on my clients. We found it gives a very ‘fixed cost’ if a practice is struggling with time budgets on jobs. We have extended the service to our bigger, more organised payroll clients. And again, I cannot fault it. The service is timely and accurate.
Finally we are using the bookkeeping and management accounts department, again for our bigger more organised clients. It works particularly well if the client is using Xero or similar, Receipt Bank and Dropbox. Their bookkeeping and management accounts team are handling some fairly tricky clients for us – which I just didn’t have time to train someone in house to do. They picked the jobs up with very little instruction from us. We couldn’t be happier.
I would urge anyone to try GI out especially on a compliance job. They did the first job for us on a trial basis and we have never looked back.
GI and I, together with my firm, have been working together for more than 10 years now and I can safely say that the utilisation of outsourcing with them has been a great success.
Not only are yearly accounts prepared in good time with a sound file and the ability to review not being a problem at all, in addition the use of outsourcing with GI in terms of Management Accounts is particularly useful. This is due to the fact that for every quarter such accounts are prepared from the bookkeeping they undertake month by month, together with the preparation of quarterly VAT Returns, we are then in a position to regularly meet with our clients to provide them with up-to-date information for discussion and review and at the end of this Statutory Accounts can be completed within five weeks of the Accounting Referenced Date. The team are always helpful and willing to please.
We cannot recommend the use of outsourcing with GI highly enough.
